Fact: I love getting gel manicures. They look great and unlike regular manicures I can justify them because they last FOOOREVER! Even longer now that I have found a hack for prolonging them in between visits to the nail salon.
2nd Fact: I have only been to the salon 4 times since August. That means I'm almost making it a month to a month and a half with my gel manicures. "But Elisabeth," you ask, "do your nails not grow out and look weird?" Oh they do, but I show those suckers who is boss and get creative. "How?" you ask (SETTLE DOWN WITH THE QUESTIONS! I'll get to that, geez). Thankfully half moons and other such "manicure filler" designs have become rather popular. In my image above I was inspired geometric shapes, burgundy and gold, and art deco. You can fill in your "grow out bed" several ways: polish, glitter, glue on 3D Nail Art, the list is only limited by your creativity. Here are some ideas you can try from Pinterest.
